Projects
• Designed and implemented an SDN-based system to simulate and detect DDoS attack patterns, including traffic flooding and abnormal flow behavior • Analyzed malicious traffic using packet inspection and flow statistics to distinguish attack traffic from legitimate behavior • Implemented mitigation logic at the controller level, translating attack detection into an automated network response • Led threat modeling and attack simulation as team lead; the project reached national-level competition finals and international conference qualification • The graduation project was qualified to participate in the 5th International Telecommunications Conference (ITC-Egypt 2025).
